WORKSHOPOBJECTIVE The workshop will illustrate: • Process and key lessons learned of the establishment and institutional development of CMAs • Practical examples of how the South African CMAs and Dutch Regional Water Authorities have been working together in building capacity • Examples of how international cooperation can and should be a win-win arrangement for both counties.
WORKSHOPOBJECTIVE Outcome of the workshop to be adressed by the breakaway groups • Identify future collaborations /opportunities which are required • Capacity building • Financial arrangement • Catchment management strategy-implementation • From the lessons learned which obstacles/bottlenecks need to be adressed and review existing processes • Improve water governance
