strategy for growth • Proposed Housing figure of 48,000 over 20 years. • Every place has needs-”dispersed” support sustainability of smaller settlements..but • Need Growth to support regeneration..CPR and St Austell Clay Country • Main Towns focus of Housing need,particualrly Truro,Falmouth,Newquay,Penzance. • Support areas of Opportunity- e.g.Bodmin,Newquay enterprise zone • New role for “Gateways into Cornwall” • Truro as higher level retail focus • Green Cornwall
