  4. 2013 Fall Conference & Market Place • August 7, 2013 • Embassy Suites, Independence • Goal is 150 – looking for 100 healthcare attendees • Exhibit Space for 40 exhibitors

Website Update • www.ohioahe.org • Members Only section went “live” on October 1, 2012 • Members received email notification when your account was activated • Information on monthly meetings, educational sessions, etc., have been posted there. • You will have the ability to register for conference or educational presentations.

  6. Website Update • Phase 4 will start in January 2013. • “Payment feature” is most important add-on during Phase 4 • On-line store will be added • Linkedin and Facebook ‘links’ will also be available.

To be held in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2013 Over 550 ES Professionals from around the US. 180 Exhibitors There are many educational presentations featuring HCAPHS, How to develop ES dashboards, OR disinfection guidelines, hand hygiene, floor care, Integrated Waste Management, sustainability, HCAHPS Best Practices, Hiring for Engagement, etc. Great Networking Opportunities. Go to “AHE.org” to pre-register! Would like to have a nice contingent from Ohio at the 2013 Conference!! AHE 2013 National Conference Update

  8. AHE Updates • New requirements that 20% of state chapter membership must be AHE members. • Chapter leadership must be AHE members. • Preferred that 20% of chapter members attain CHESP certification status.

AHE Updates • OAHE is one of largest, most active chapters in the last 4 years. • Opportunities to serve on AHE Educational Committee for the 2013 AHE National Conference to be held in Indianapolis from September 15 – 18. • OAHE is being utilized as a “resource chapter” by the national office.

  10. AHE Updates • AHE is forming “Chapter Advisory Council” in 2013. We have been asked to be a part of that council.

Coming in 2013 • Updated website features • Closer collaboration with AHE for Ohio members. • Expanded educational offerings for Ohio AHE members. • Discounted membership rate for OAHE members who join national AHE. • Possible affiliation with Ohio Hospital Association. • Expanded mailings to health care institutions across the state. • New “partnership level” being considered.
