Early Life • He was very wealthy. • He was a only child. • James (dad) and Sara (mom). • His childhood was lonely he traveled around the world when he was very young. • He was home schooled because he traveled a lot. • When he was a old teenager he went to a boarding school called Gordon school in Mass. • Still he was very, very smart. • He also loved sports!!!
Family Life • Franklin married Eleanor Roosevelt. • Franklin and Eleanor had SIX kids!!! • None of his kids were born on the same year. • Eleanor’s uncle was Theodore Roosevelt.
The Election • 1st term Franklin’s Vice President was John Gardner. • For 2nd term Vice President was Henry Wallace • For 3rd term the Vice President was Harry S. Truman. • The election was not close at all, boring race.
Events in Presidency • One of the important issues my president addressed is World War Two. • It was important because a lot of people died. • Another one was the great depression. • It was important because a lot of people lost their jobs.
Life Accomplishments • Franklin won a award for longest president in office ever. • He also gave 400,000 people their jobs back from the great depression.
Interesting facts • Paralyzed with pilo in1921. • Portrait on a dime. • Expanded government to combat The Great Depression and World War Two. • New York Governor from 1929 to 1933.
