  2. What is it? • Reaction to Supreme Court’s rejection to Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) • Restricted agricultural production by paying farmers to reduce crop area and livestock • Allowed government to pay farmers to reduce production • Conserve soil • Prevent erosion

  3. What Did It Do? • Educated farmers on how to use their land without damaging it • Took immediate action to contain Dust Bowl’s effects • Planting trees • Native grass
