Fall Meet Schedule – Tentative • Monday, September 2 – Sole Sports Running Zone XC Festival – Scottsdale, AZ • Saturday, September 7 –The Peaks X-C Invite, Flagstaff, AZ • Wednesday, September 11 - Mountain Ridge, Notre Dame Prep, Paradise Valley, Deer Valley @ NDP • Saturday, September 14 – Adobe Invitational* • Saturday, September 21 – OjoRojo Invitational – Chandler, AZ* • Wednesday, September 25 - Alhambra, Central, Shadow Mountain, Deer Valley – Location TBD^ • Saturday, September 28 – Doug Conley Invitational – Tempe, AZ • Friday, October 4 – Desert Twilight Invitational – Mesa, AZ

Fall Meet Schedule – Tentative • These dates are reserved for cross country • 7 quality invitationals, sectionals and state • Two of the biggest meets in the Southwest US • Vacations between August 12 and November 9 • Cautionary tale
Fundraising • Why? Current balance is $1912.00 • Invitationals cost $250 - $350 per team. • Invitationals are run against tough competition, on good courses, and prepare for sectionals and state • We have to pay for all but one invitational per year • Athletic department is very supportive, but we still have to pay for almost everything
What will we do? • Fundraiser – Cookie Dough – Similar set up as Track fundraiser • Successful program, proven product and formula • When: 7/15 – 7/27 • Goal is for community to support, not just family • Prior attempts at fundraising • Ear buds – About a dozen left. Raised $125 net • Not enough immediate action by students • Key student missing during second semester drive • Open to other alternatives as well – please suggest
Mt. SAC Invitational Trip • Mt. SAC Invitational – Premiere CC invitational in California. Walnut, CA on the campus of Mt. San Antonio College • Leave on Thursday morning • Arrive Thursday afternoon. Light practice. Check in. Team dinner • Friday – Race Day (time could change – finalized in mid October based on rankings) • Saturday morning – light team practice. Check out. Drive home
Why Mt. SAC Invite • Huge cross country invitational experience • Top competition from outside of the state/Regional competition • Tough course with many hills to mimic region course • Team bonding trip right before final stretch of the year
Costs • Entry fee of $350 • Room for 7 male and 7 female athletes for two night (6 rooms for two nights) • Rooms for coaching staff – two rooms • Room for CDL driver • Transportation – District Microbird, District Minivan • $20/per diem for student athlete meals for Thursday and Friday
