Climax Plot Line The most intense part of the story where the conflicts are at their worst and need to be resolved. Rising Action Falling Action This makes up the bulk of the story, where the conflicts happen and the protagonist is tested. These are the events that lead to the stories end. Start of the story that introduces the characters and settings and potential conflicts. The end of the story where the problems are potentially solved. Exposition Resolution
Climax Plot Line “The Veldt” Wendy and Peter trick the parents to come looking for them in the nursery and lock them in. Rising Action Falling Action George wants to shut down the nursery and the house and you realize that the children don’t want that to happen. They will do anything to keep the house “on.” Peter yells at the house to not let the parents kill it. The lions become real and attack the parents. Introduced to George and Lydia, and the lions in the nursery. The children have a picnic while their parents are being devoured in the distance. Exposition Resolution
