Tuesday 13 August 2013, 2:00pm Research Seminar Room 42, Level 6 AS7 Shaw Foundation Building, NUS Research Collaboration Meeting with Humboldt University Abstract A group of academics from Humboldt University in Berlin will be visiting FASS Cities Research Cluster to discuss possible research collaboration with urban scholars. The themes to be discussed are: (1) Comparative urbanism, including Asian cities (especially Jakarta and Hyderabad); (2) Urban fear and safety; (3) The clustering of social, economic and political power; (4) Building upon existing research network funding from the British LeverhulmeTrust; (5) Graduate student exchange This meeting is open to FASS faculty and students only.
