DONACIÓN. • La donación, es la extracción de órganos y tejidos con fines de trasplante de una persona durante su vida o después de su donación. • Es un procedimiento quirúrgico para implantar un órgano o tejido sano a un paciente que sustituya al suyo enfermo que no funciona y es indispensable para su calidad de vida y en muchos casos hasta vital.
