  42. You’ll get your place on the County team, Mrs Kennedy!”says Máirtín to her. • ‘Gheobhaidh tú d’áit ar fhoireann an chontae, a Iníon Uí Chinnéide!’ arsa Mairtín léi.

  43. The Bursar wasn’t pleased with this talk at all and he said to Máirtín that he wasn’t like his brother at all. • Ní raibh an sparánaí sásta leis an gcaint seo ar chor ar bith agus dúirt sé le Mairtín nach raibh sé cosúil lena dheartháir ar chor ar bith.

  47. The Bursar said that he would not get any other cheque from him because of his being absent from his lectures. • Dúirt an sparánaí nach bhfaigheadh sé aon seic eile uaidh de bharr é bheith as láthair óna chuid léachtaí.

  48. He also said that he would tell the whole matter to the brother of Máirtín. • Dúirt sé freisin go n-inseodh sé an scéal go léir do dheartháir Mháirtín.
