  2. Donor Funded Water Supply Projects Presently Implemented by Water Supply Projects Section

  3. Expected Increasing of Production Capacity through new WSPs & Planned no of new connections

Mechanism in Implementation of Local Bank Funded Water Supply Projects • Locally funded Distribution expansions in Donor Funded Water Supply Projects implement by the same Project Director • Distribution expansions and Infills under Local Bank funding carry out by DGM(RSC) as PD • New Projects under Local Bank funding implement by appointed PDs • Utilization of existing permanent staff wherever possible • DGM(L.B.F) to be appointed in WSP Section has the responsibility in: • Co-ordination of above all the LBF Projects. • Preparation of Cabinet Papers/Securing cabinet approvals • Progress monitoring & Reporting • Laison with all the PDs • Coordinating the selection of Contractors. • Liase on Project Financing

Logistic facilities to implement the Local Bank Funding Projects • Projects Implement through Donor funded WSPs • Same Project Director, with the same staff & with available facilities of the Project. • Distribution expansions and infills under local bank funding • DGM(RSC) to be PD • AGM(Dev) in the RSC to act as PD, in projects TCE, less than Rs. 1000 Mn • New Projects under Local Bank Funding • New Project Directors to be appointed. • DPD in the capacity of AGM, to appoint for Projects, TCE greater than Rs. 1000 Mn

  6. Required Logistic Facilities StaffRequirement Vehicle Requirement & Office Space Requirement are Included in the Contractor’s Bills
