The thorns on the holly bush represent the thorns on the crown of thorns. Isn’t that great class!
Baby Nick says: Early Christians used the candles and the advent wreath as a sign of Christ.
By the Middle Ages, the Christians adapted this tradition and used Advent wreaths as part of their spiritual preparation for Christmas.
