  5. Networking Wrap-upFollowing Up With Contacts • Make notes about new contacts • Follow up soon after you’ve met • Keep up with people in your network – even when you don’t need anything

  6. Informational Interviews • Ask for a few minutes of the person’s time • Prepare ahead of time • Briefly introduce yourself & explain your interest • Ask open-ended questions • Ask for referrals • Afterwards, write a thank you note
