The Current Scenario • An over worked committee • The constant pressure to generate over £2000 a month including: • £1000 a month adult football fees in Hellenic League • Limited sponsorship opportunities and private hire • Poor condition of car parks, pitch-side and ground conditions • No coherent strategy for youth team football

  3. The future looks bleak...? ....Or is it a time to make big steps to change the long term future of the club... ?

  4. Easington Sports aims • Promote quality Youth Team development • Invest in clubhouse and pitch-side improvements to significantly upgrade conditions • Promote the club in the local area to diversify away from football and to encourage greater community use

  5. Successes so far: £45,000 of successful grant applications • £5,000 from Football Foundation to develop youth football • £33,000 from Viridor Landfill Credits • £1,700 Oxfordshire Community Grants • £5,000 Banbury Charities

  8. Phase I - Clubhouse • Laminate flooring • Plaster walls • Modernise lighting • Safe and clean entrance • Outside lighting

  9. Phase I – Ground Improvements • New soak away • New type 1 car park surface • Man hole covers • Safety lighting

  10. We still need £7,000 to be able to start and finish changing room upgrades

Longer Term Aims • Sustaining a pathway from Youth Team football into Adult football at a high standard • A Community Club with good connections with local schools and residents • Providing football for Players in Banbury in the Hellenic Premier Division football. • To provide a real alternative to Banbury United for the football spectators in Banbury • To develop the use of the clubhouse to provide a community hub for small interest groups

We would like to use your expertise to help us... • To help us obtain cheaper materials for improvements • Continue to make significant improvements to the Addison Road ground • Build up our reputation as good place to play and enjoy football • Increase the community use of our clubhouse and to increase the number of functions • Develop alternative revenue streams including ways to increase the sales of Lucky 7s • Sponsorship to cover the costs of new sports equipment, kits and tracksuits
