  3. SMCC Who are the Cougars?..... Women’s Volleyball • 3 ACCAC playoff appearances in last 4 years. • Defeated nationally ranked Scottsdale CC last week in 3 straight sets. • Tuesday 9/25/12 game vs. Pima CC 7pm (Dig Pink Game)

SMCC Who are the Cougars?..... 2012-13 Season Start Dates • Men’s Basketball: November 1, 2012 • Women’s Basketball: November 3, 2012 • Burgers and Basketball Conference Kick-off • Wednesday November 14, 2012 (5:30pm) • Baseball: January 25, 2013 • Softball: January 25, 2013 • Men’s and Women’s Golf: February 2013

  6. SMCC Cougar Pride… Athletics History: • 6 of 9 teams on campus have competed in National Championships. • 6 current head coaches at SMCC have taken teams to national tournaments. • 56 professional athletes • 3 National Championships • 3 Academic National Champion Teams

SMCCCougar Pride… Student-Athlete Graduation and Transfer Rates Graduation • 2009-2010: 47% of 2nd year athletes graduated • 2010-2011: 39% of 2nd year athletes graduated • 2011-2012: 65% of 2nd year athletes graduated Transfer • 2009-2010: 32% of student-athletes transferred to 4-year institutions. • 2010-2011: 39% of student-athletes transferred to 4-year institutions. • 2011-2012: 76% of student-athletes transferred to 4-year institutions.
