Meeting of Ecosystem/Protected Areas/Informatics Experts January 23, 2007 Objectives: 1. Technical considerations in improving the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) 2. Database systems (e.g. Andes Amazon PA database, AZE, GBIF, REMIB, INBio, Humboldt, IABIN databases 3. Value added tools (e.g. GEOSS, GITAN, Conservation Geoportal project,  Proteus, Servir, etc)
