  2. Why do we have ENLLIC? • The belief is in not just learning English but also doing as much as possible to assist in the acquisition of English. • Creating opportunities for English learners to be exposed to English at every corner.

  4. ENLLIC is not just a voluntary opportunity. ENLLIC Oral English class is part of the students grades. If students or teachers don’t come, then their evaluations are affected negatively. English Corners usually are on a voluntary basis. As students and teachers get busier in the semester, English corners lose their importance and attendance. What’s the Difference?

  5. ENLLIC is for the whole English department and encourages not only the outgoing students but all students to speak English. English Corners usually have smaller groups and only attracts those already interested in speaking. Attendance differences

How does ENLLIC make the grade? • Every English major student is enrolled in ENLLIC Oral English Class. • They are graded on their class work, participation in ENLLIC chats, class score from the English Service Group for English day, peer evaluations, an in-class project, and their final exam • Their class score is dependant on the class’ participation in the ENLLIC Night, and speaking English throughout English Day.
