FY2012 demonstration experiments: Fresh produce information (Overview) ○ The social importance related to safety and securityof fresh agricultural products is growing rapidly since the Great East Japan Earthquake. There are such issues as inadequacies and inconsistency of information codes and formats from the production through the distribution stage and the difficulty of the coordination between multiple farm management systems in the realization of a traceability system that includes information related to safety and security. In order to solve these problems, take advantage of the Information Circulation and Sharing Platform common API as a mechanism of secondary use of fresh agricultural products information. ○ For this reason, create data standards required for distribution and coordination of data that are generated in each stage of producers, distributors and retailers, and consumers, and to demonstrate the mechanism that achieves fresh produce traceability by cooperating with GAP-certified farms (*) targeting fresh agricultural products (fruits, vegetables, etc.) produced at such farms. * Farms that are certified by prefectural governments and Japan Good Agricultural Practice Association(Japan Good Agricultural Practice ) and the like for their food safety and environmental protection efforts Farms Implementing body: Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. Cooperation body: ・Japan Good Agricultural Practice Association ・ Six farms in the following regions Hirosaki City / Tsuruta Town (Aomori Prefecture), Iwaki City (Fukushima Prefecture), Omitama City (Ibaraki Prefecture), Asahi City, Katori City (Chiba Prefecture) ・ Distributors (Daiei, Nomura Farm, etc.) Distributors / Retailers Consumers Cultivation information, Evaluation information Traceability System Cultivation information Evaluation information from consumers, etc. Impact prediction from radioactivity information to crops [Data dealt in this demonstration (Examples)] (1) Cultivation information Radiation level of production area, items, pesticide administered, fertilizers, farm fields, etc. (2) Quality information Grade, sugar content, etc. (3) Distribution information Location information, site name, arrival time, shipment time, etc. (4) Evaluation information Taste evaluation, appearance evaluation, comments, etc. Distribution information Evaluation information Evaluation information Cultivation information Quality information Information Circulation and Sharing PlatformCommon API GAP-certified Farm (Vegetables) Distributors (Wholesalers / Retailers) Consumers Use Farm management system - Production place / producer information - Pesticide / fertilizer history information - Radioactivity information, etc. Vegetables + identifier accessory (Printed and packed on packaging) Consumers Distributors (Wholesalers / Retailers) Identifier issuance Fruit + identifier accessory (Printed and packed on packaging) Distributors (Wholesalers / Retailers) Consumers • Farm management system • - Production place / producer information • - Pesticide / fertilizer history information • Radioactivity information, etc. Use GAP-certified Farm (Fruit)
