Actions • Establish EVMS Focus Area 3 Team • Develop EVMS Certification Guide Outline • Scope Definition (Single project, program, site, company) • Organization and staffing (champion, senior management, process & tools staff) • Establish schedule (considering HQ & DCMA integration/restraints) • Requirements (32 guidelines) • EVMS Process Description (with map to 32 criteria) • Gap Analysis • EVMS Process & Tool improvement

Actions (Continued) • Outline (Continued) • Training (CAMs, Management, General Awareness) • EVMS Evaluation (Dry Run, Tool Review,…) • EVMS Certification Planning meeting with HQ & DCMA • Transmit documentation to review team • DCMA review team training • Onsite EVMS site review • CAR disposition • EVMS Certification letter from DOE • Ongoing Surveillance/self assessment & continuous improvements

  5. Milestones • EVMS Certification Guide outline/draft to PMWG (2/25/05) • EVMS Certification Guide to EFCOG (4/1/05) • EVMS Certification Guide distributed and posted to website (5/6/05)

  6. Resources • DOE EVMS Application Guide, 01/01/05 • DOE Order 413.3 and Guide • ANSI Standard 748A • Input from early sites & Projects (Sandia, SNS, UC, SRS…) • DOE Headquarters support

  7. Deliverables • Guide outline for review by PMWG members • Draft EVMS Certification Guide for EFCOG review and acceptance • EVMS Certification guide for distribution and for posting on the EFCOG website
