Issue • Dr D sometimes find that fulfilling the CPD is a hassle. He accumulated his CPD points by attending conference and seminars however he has no interest to the topics presented and only attend to fulfill his CPD. In his practice, he doesn’t apply the knowledge he could get through the CPD activities for his patients.
Conclusion • CPD is crucial to broaden and maintain professional’s knowledge and skills to provide highest standard of care • Dentists should have their own awareness to be ethical to their patients. • CPD can only act as a guideline
