Paths to membership • Anyone can join IChemE immediately as an Affiliate member at www.icheme.org and gain member benefits • Our principle is to encourage membership into the highest grade of membership based upon assessment against criteria (e.g. graduate chemical engineers should join as Associate members) • Technician Member status provides EngTech / RSciTech registration • Individuals attain Chartered Chemical Engineer status after successful peer review and subsequent election to Chartered Member grade.
