TLS Seeds produced and procured by the State Department are being distributed free of cost to the farmers, yet it is insignificant as per total requirement. • However, seed requirement of TRC/WRC foothill/plain areas are being met by procurement from outside only, mainly from NSC & others. • Therefore, the State has step up on Seed production for identified major field crops to meet the seed requirement of the State, and also to increase SRR aiming towards vision, to the extent possible.
