KADIR HAS UNIVERSITY SPORTS LAW RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENTATION CENTRE • The first and only academic institute dealing with Sports Law in Turkey. • Foundation: 19.07.2005 • Objective: To make a contribution to the development of Sports Law, especially by analysing national and international sports- related legislation and jurisprudence and by organising academic symposiums, workshops and education programs.

  2. FORMER ACTIVITIES • September 2005 – June 2006: Sports Law Certification Program • 11st November 2005: International Sports Law Symposium • January – June 2007: Sports Management Certification Program

  3. CURRENT ACTIVITIES • October 2007 – June 2008: Elective “Sports Law” course for 4th year students • October 2007 – June 2008: LL.M. in Sports Law • November 2007 – April 2008: Sports Communication Certification Program

  4. PUBLISHINGS in 2007 • Turkish Sports Legislation (A compilation of sports-related legal rules in Turkey.) • Sports Law Studies (A compilation of conference-papers presented in the Sports Law Certification Program.)

  5. FUTURE PROJECTS • Sports Marketing Certification Program • “The New Face of Turkish Sport” • A civil society project consisting of several multi-stakeholder conferences and workshops. • Objective: The elaboration of a new policy framework and the establishment of a new model for Turkish Sport following the example of “the European Model of Sport”.
