Purposes • Provide advice to Chancellor • Innovation • Trends • Standards • Opportunities • Establish guidelines for college technology projects ($87M) • Recommend technology expenditures funded by the recent bond election ($95M) • Prioritize/approve • Sponsor or encourage technology projects • Provide project oversight • Identify and address policy requirements

  3. Membership • Board Member • 2 College Presidents • 3 Vice Chancellors • 3 Vice Presidents • 2 Members of the Faculty • 1 Member MCLI Community • 3 Members of TLC • CDAC (Diaz) • AVC ITS (Huish)

  4. 3 distinct processes focused on technology • Visioning and direction • Establishing District standards and guidelines • Recommending/Approving projects

  5. Visioning, direction, standards, guidelines GB CEC ITAC CDAC SPAC FAC TLC ASC OCOTILLO *Highly collaborative process, CEC approves

  6. Fund technology within buildings GB CEC ITAC CDAC SPAC FAC TLC ASC OCOTILLO *ITAC participates, CDAC recommends

  7. Fund other technology more than $100k GB CEC ITAC CDAC SPAC FAC TLC ASC OCOTILLO *TAC consults widely, then recommends
