Introduction • Teachers play an important role in improving knowledge, skills, and expertise among learners. • They teach from elementary levels to tertiary levels. • Although the grading options in different education systems evaluate leaners on closely similar guidelines, every student has different understanding abilities. • Therefore, teachers assume the responsibility of leveraging the student’s outcome. • Equally, guiding the students in achieving expertise in their specific interest areas. • Teachers must therefore cope with students of different understanding capacities. • Teachers can only manage to enable students to realise the highest outcomes if they possess the best qualities. • The presentation evaluates the factors that make an effective teacher.

Effective Teacher Qualities • A teacher’s quality is important but it is defined by traits that are impossible or difficult to measure (Lavy, 2016). • Difficulties in evaluating teacher effectiveness have been linked to minimal success in relating the student’s achievement to evident teacher characteristics. • The teacher's individual classroom attributes and traits in efforts to determine the efficient teaching methods make them effective teachers. • Important personality traits include kindness, patience, and care. • Teachers showing sensitivity to pupil differences together with compassion promote a student’s learning interests. • Those showing kindness play a significant role in improving the students' development and learning processes (Lavy, 2016).

Effective Teacher Qualities • Effective teachers have equally been evaluated through teacher-student relations using the notion that great teachers have positive relationships with students. • Positive teacher-student relationships promote the teacher's interest in listening to students. • Positive relations are trusting and promote the development of a positive, productive, and safe study environment (Lavy, 2016). • Effective teachers possess high knowledge about the learners. • Integrating with students in a manner that encourages them to perform their best requires an understanding of their social, emotional, and cognitive development. • This promotes understanding of the student's capabilities and pace together with their particular abilities and needs (Stronge, 2018).

Effective Teacher Qualities • One goal of teaching is enabling students to improve their knowledge and skills. • Although the cramming method is applied in education systems, the students' understanding varies among students. • Effective teachers should engage students in learning to motivate their learning process and make the study content interesting (Paolini, 2015). • Teachers who manage to engage students in learning improve their social experiences as well. • Improved social experiences promote future success in areas including career. • Teaching dedication that includes a commitment to promoting the success of students makes effective teachers. • Dedicated teachers are always ready and willing to help their students (Stronge, 2018).
