Speedway is about 12 miles north of downtown Las Vegas.

Mandalay BayShark Reef • Touch Tank for younger explorers with touchable sea life • Walk through aquarium, making you feel like you are practically in the water with the sea life • 2500 specimens including 100 different species of sharks, exotic fish, reptiles, and turtles • Location • 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard South • Admission • Adults $16.95 • Children12 and younger $10.95 • Children under 4 are admitted free • Hours • Open Daily 10am until 10pm

Hoover Dam • Hoover Dam is a dam of unprecedented height and weight and the key to control and regulate the Colorado River, construction began in 1931 and the last concrete was poured in1935 two years ahead of schedule • Vital Statistics • Height: 726.4 Feet • Top Thickness: 45 Feet • Bottom Thinkness:660 Feet • Composition: 3.25 million cubic yards of concrete • Location • Access US Highway 93 South out of Las Vegas and continue about 20 miles to Boulder CityIn Boulder City, take a left at the second stoplight in town (there are only 2 of them)Continue on US 93 to the Dam on the Nevada/Arizona border (about 7 miles from Boulder City) (Note: The highway runs right across the top of the dam)
