TC ActivitiesAs of 15 July 2012 Recent Conference Performance Accomplishments • Updated and Presented ABP Engine Design Course at JPC 2011 in Conjunction with Other ABP TC’s • Published YIR article • Supported ABP Awards • Offering 2-day short course after JPC 2012: A Practical Introduction to Numerical Propulsion System Simulation (NPSS) • Joint AIAA/IGTI Engine Design Competition for Undergraduate Teams • Inaugural event! • University of Kansas (2 teams) • University of Istanbul • Final presentations and judging at JPC 2012 *As of Jul 13,2012 Includes 3 panels 9 ABPSI, 1 GEPC Issues / Help Needed • Implementation of NEM • Honors & Awards Chair/Lead needed Initiatives & Plans • Added Secretary position to improve TC performance • SC Chairs drafted standard operating procedures • Added a new Nominations subcommittee Financial Status and Other Activities • TBA at JPC
