HeadingThe Greeting • The greeting is the salutation – or the way you start the letter. • For example: Dear Mrs. Brown, Dear Mr. Knox,
The body or message • The body is the actual letter. It contains important information, purpose of writing etc. • Type according purpose: • Thank you • Cover letter • Job application • Educational purpose.
Closing • The closing tells you the letter is over unless you have an enclosure. • For Example: • Sincerely, • Love, • Thank you,
Signature • The signature is basically your name. You write it below the closing. The signature is generally written in cursive with it printed below. • For example: Sincerely, Bessie Barker Bessie Barker
