Material for this slide comes from various places: • Teaching Strategies on the QSEN website • QSEN National Forum – Jot notes to yourself about the various strategies you are learning about at the conference. ] • QSEN Corner recommendations are presented each week in Kelly’s newsletter.   4. Faculty Innovations [If you attended the Faculty Institute to be trained as a trainer. You had to survey your faculty for examples of what they were currently assigning or evaluating in their classrooms as it related to the QSEN competencies. Go back to those survey results and you will find material that you can copy and paste into this section! Ask faculty what they are currently doing in their classroom. Ask them to send you their innovative teaching or evaluation strategies. Include their innovation with the corresponding month. Be sure to highlight the innovative faculty by bolding their name. ]

  5. QSEN Quiz [Here are some ideas for creating three questions: 1. Encourage faculty to use the QSEN website by asking questions such as: “Which of the following learning modules under Faculty Resources on the www.qsen.org website would be a valuable resource for faculty looking to infuse informatics into a course? • Modules Two and Three • Modules Four and Seven • Modules Eight and Ten • Modules One and Six 2. Ask a question that can easily be answered by reading the newsletter. 3. Ask a fill in the blank question that encourages faculty to seek new teaching strategies. 4.
