  2. Né en 1961, Benjamin Wu a étudié l'art à l'Institut des Beaux-Arts de Guangzhou en Chine de 1978 à 1985. Après avoir été diplômé du département de peinture à l'huile, on lui a offert un poste d'enseignant à l'Institut Guanhzhou Fine Art. Tout en enseignant à l'Institut, il a décidé de déménager aux États-Unis. En 1991, il a reçu son MFA de Degré de Academy of Art College de San Francisco. Depuis, il a travaillé comme illustrateur free-lance et artiste peintre.
