Classroom Attendance Procedure Flight Commander/Class Leader To exercise leadership and self-discipline To control the flight by giving proper commands in the proper sequence and at the proper time To ascertain flight attendance by receiving reports from element leaders with emphasis on absentees To report absences to the Instructors

Classroom Attendance Procedure • Element Leader • To exercise leadership and self-discipline • To know the status of the members of their element and properly report to the class leader • If the element members are in the classroom, they are reported as “present” • If the element members are not in the classroom and the element leader does not know their whereabouts, they are reported as “absent” • If the element members are not in the classroom and the element leader knows they are present at school and their whereabouts, they are reported as “accounted for”

  3. Classroom Attendance Procedure • Element Member • To exercise self-discipline • To obey the directions of the class leader • To properly perform all drill positions and movements • No talking • No moving around
