Lee, BSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA, CCRN Vanderbilt Outpatient Surgery Center For innovative problem solving and empathic patient care beyond the call of duty. • Winners receive a recertification scholarship and Lladro statue. • Nominators receive a $100 award. • Units receive a $350 award.

New Unit-Level Award • “Nursing Passion in Action” • Recognize CPAN and CAPA • nurses who go beyond their • normal job to provide outstanding • patient care. • Nurse Managers use the award in their unit to reward “Nursing Passion in Action.” ABPANC provides one poster and 12 cards for monthly recognition. Award entries are faxed or emailed to ABPANC and recipients are entered into a drawing for ten $25 gift certificates per month.

9. Examination – Dates and Deadlines Fall 2014 • Registration Window: July 14 – September 8 • Examination: October 6 – November 29* * Extended 2 weeks • Deadline for Cancelling Appointment: 31 days before test date – no charge 3 – 30 days before test date - $62.50 Less than 3 days - $66.24

Recertification Information Fall 2014 • First Renewal Notice will be sent in July • Use the Application and Forms found on our website under “Recertification” • Record your contact hours in the Continual Learning Documentation Log • Once you recertify the Log is erased so you can start a new one.
