  2. Command Forms • Ud.= yo form of verb, drop the o and add… • e for AR verbs • a for ER or IR verbs • Uds.= add… • en for AR • an for ER and IR

  3. …Commands • Tú= look just like 3rd person conjugations • Negative tú= add.. • es for AR verbs • as for ER or IR verbs

  4. IRREGULAR • If irregular in yo form, it’s irregular in command form • Caer • Hacer • Oír • Poner • Salir • Venir • Tener • Traer • Ofrecer

  5. Stem Changing in Yo Form • If a verb changes in yo form, it changes in command form too. • Ex.- c to qu • g to gu • z to c Like: busco  Busque Ud.  Busca tu

  6. Nosotros • AR verbs end in –emos • ER and IR end in –amos • Remember rule about irregular yo forms of certain verb • And these verbs: • Dar (demos), Estar (estemos), Saber (sepamos), Ser (seamos), and Ver (veamos)

  7. Nosotros Reflexive • Drop the final s of the command form before attaching the reflexive pronoun nos • Ex. Levantemos  Levantemo + nos =Levantemonos

  8. Conditional • Helps talk about what would happen • Is used to make polite requests • ALL VERBS HAVE SAME ENDINGS (ar, er, + ir) • ía • ías • ía • íamos • íais • ían
