  2. Reclamation Reclamation has formed a ABC Steering Committee Selected internal pilots Power Safety of Dams Water Conservation Currently defining activities and mapping to to strategic plan Efforts to Date

Examples of Mapping • SOD Program • Activities align with one strategy and outcome • Water Conservation • Align with one strategy, but numerous outcomes • Power Program • Activities align with more than one strategy and outcome • Yuma Area Office • Assigning work activities on a case-by-case basis

  4. Linking Activities to Strategic Plan SOD Activities align with 1 strategy and outcome

  5. Link Activities and $$ to Mission However, DOI guidance suggested SOD must link to Protect Public, so must allocate to other outcomes

  6. Linking Activities to Strategic Plan Activities align with 1 strategy, but many outcomes

  7. Link Activities and $$ to Outcome Goals for each Mission Created an “allocation scheme” based on purpose
