  3. Analyzing Tools and Artifacts • ALCOS: 1 • Objective: I can identify how cavemen lived through analyzing fossils, tools, and artifacts in small-group stations.

Example of Quality Desired • Example question: Determine why women were more likely to be “gatherers” rather than “hunters” during Stone Age times. • Example answer: “Women were more likely to be gatherers than hunters in Stone Age times for many reasons. First, women had to nurse and raise their young. Second, the women…”
