Main objective of the society: • to promote innovation and cooperation of X-ray spectroscopists and analysts within Europe • supporting the European X-Ray Spectrometry (EXRS) conferences • searching for financial support to enhance the participation of talented young scientists • supporting innovation and cooperation with the manufacturers of X-ray devices

  3. Additional activities: Improving the interface between the academic and industrial sector Promoting X-ray spectrometry courses in European university curricula Providing high quality training Co-organizingsummer schools and dedicated workshops on novel and emerging X-ray spectrometry topics

  4. Types of membership Individual (reduced for students) Institutional member Supporting member Member benefits -participation at workshops and summer schools with reduced registration fee and priority for admission - organization of courses and workshops together with EXSA - participation at the general assembly with voting rights

  5.
