1) A Recharged Spirit comes by Process of Forgiveness- Psalm 51:1-12 7 Purge me with hyssop, & I shall be clean; Wash me, & I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me hear joy & gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
1) A Recharged Spirit comes by Process of Forgiveness- Psalm 51:1-12 9 Hide Your face from my sins, & blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, & renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Forgiveness provides spiritual “room” for God to work. To have a clean heart is to invite God into our lives.
To be recharged we must have a firm belief that God does & will forgive… Isaiah 55 6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
To be recharged we must have a firm belief that God does & will forgive… Isaiah 55 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, & the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, & He will have mercy on him; & to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
…and then ask for that forgiveness 1 John 1 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
…and then ask for that forgiveness 1 John 1 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves & the truth is not in us.
…and then ask for that forgiveness 1 John 1 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful & just & will forgive us our sins & purify us from all unrighteousness.
Is my heart clean before the Lord? Does God have room to work in my life?
2) A Recharged Spirit is Filled with God’s Gifts- Psalm 51:10-12 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, & renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Recharging comes when we are not only clean, but filled with the best that God has for us. God will fill us, if we desire Him to do His work in us.
To be recharged means we believe God will fill us… Isaiah 41 17 "The poor & needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
To be recharged means we believe God will fill us… Isaiah 41 18 I will open rivers in desolate heights, & fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, & the dry land springs of water…
To be recharged means we believe God will fill us… Isaiah 41 20 That they may see & know, & consider & understand together, That the hand of the Lord has done this, & the Holy One of Israel has created it.
…and then ask for His blessings Matt 4 6 Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
3) The Results of a Recharged Spirit- Psalm 51:13-18 13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, & sinners shall be converted to You.

When our spirit is recharged & refreshed, our heart & voice are filled with encouragement, witness & praise.
