12 And 21 Use the same symbols. What makes them different numbers is their locations, or PLACES.
We have ten symbols in our decimal numbers, and we use them to build all the others: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Using the symbols 9, 2, and 6we can make twenty-four different numbers
But I wonder if our brains don’t learn to think of it as one thing, as a noun, maybe because of our language. 12
