Numeri decimali limitati • frazioni come 7/10 ; 13/100; 9/1000 si dicono frazioni decimali (il loro denominatore è una potenza di 10) • tutte le altre frazioni (non apparenti) si dicono frazioni ordinarie (11/20; 39/50;..) • 7/10 = 7 : 10 =0,7 10= 2X5 • 13/100 = 13 : 100= 0,13 100= 22x52 • 9/1000 = 9 : 1000 = 0,009 1000= 23x53 • 11/4 = 11 : 4 = 2,75 4= 22 • 39/25 = 39: 25 = 1,56 25= 52 • Le frazioni considerate originano numeri decimali finiti • I denominatori dellefrazioni considerate contengono solo i fattori primi 2 e/o 5 • Una frazione che ha il denominatore composto esclusivamente dai fattori 2 e/o 5 (o da una loro potenza) origina sempre un numero decimale limitato

  2. FRAZIONE GENERATRICE DI UN NUMERO DECIMALE LIMITATO • Per ottenere la frazione generatrice di un numero decimale limitato: • scriviamo al numeratore di una frazione il numero stesso senza la virgola • al denominatore scriviamo 1 seguito da tanti zeri quante sono le cifre dopo la virgola
