Curriculum Development • Bexley Council/Adults passenger and community transport • Training drivers and passenger assistants • Collaboration – community transport training + transport scheme for students ? • Bexley Council/ASC providers • Home Care and Residential Care providers – training care workers • Bexley Council/Sidcup and Co • Micro business centre/grant funded for training – partnership opportunities • Bexley Council/Thriving Families • Working with Lead Manager – AEC outreach part of the solution • Bexley Council/Local Colleges First • Supporting 9 Students this year and potentially double in 2014 • Very positive feedback • Cost of the 9 placements reduced potential costs by£820k p.a. !!

Operations Update • Accommodation • Erith live and going well • Sidcup open during January 2014 • Brampton live delayed until 2015 • Tutor Terms and Condition/Fractional Posts • Financial modelling complete by end 2013 • Staff consultation from early 2014 • Live September 2014 • Customer Services • New structure integrating sites and back office teams • Improving and standardising processes and customer satisfaction • ICT • Weaknesses in core business system exposed by remote working • Very old database system with major uncertainty around provider • Implement short term fix + evaluate alternative solutions
