Introduction to Manager Self Service - MSS • Web access point that managers will use to obtain information about their employees • Employee information will assist managers in performing their management tasks and assist with decision making. • One-stop for Information • “In-box” will include notifications and HR actions requiring approval • Time Approval • The MSS role will be assigned to: • School-based • Principals and Assistant Principals • District-based • Based on the Organizational Chart • Division heads, Directors, Managers
Role Description • Monitor and Approve HR Personnel actions based on employee work events • Approve leave request for vacation and personal reasons • Access report queries • Ability to manipulate the queries to generate reports that meet your needs • Display information about employees • Team Calendar, General Data, Personal Data, Monitoring of Dates, Bargaining Dates, Attendance/Absence Data, Objects on Loan • Personnel Development • Appraisals, Profile Match-ups, Training Activities, Qualifications • Time Approval • Performance Management • Appraisals, Professional Growth Plans (PGP)
