  2. |Transparency project 2008 • Users constructed a “wish list” of information: gas flows, transmission capacity, gas quality, gas balancing & supply and demand • Following much discussion TSOs in NW region agreed to publish information on priority areas of gas flows and transmission capacity • Each TSO undertook to publish data at interconnection points (126 in total) except for where minus 3 shipper rule applies • Each TSO agreed to publish the required in May September or December 2008

Conclusions • TSOs in NW region have voluntarily released new gas flow & capacity data • Decreasing number of interconnection points subject to less than three shipper rule • Most TSOs expected to publish all data by end 2008 • Some TSOs will not be able to publish daily aggregate day ahead nominations and probability of interruptions are data types by end 2008 Results will be discussed at SG on 14 November. TSOs, stakeholders and regulators working hard to ensure project is a success!
