  1. August 25-29 Mrs. Kilpatrick’s Classroom News • Don’t forget to sign and return Back to School papers and money ASAP!! • On Thursdays the gym will be selling freeze pops for $0.25 for snack. Starts this Thurs! • We will have Fun Friday on Friday afternoons- if students have been on yellow or lower twice throughout the week they will sit out. • Feel free to contact me with questions, concerns, etc. at LKilpatrickClass@gmail.com • Don’t forget to sign up for the Remind texts by texting @f6e51 to (703)-822-5930 Reading: Our reading story for the week is Snap. We will be reviewing the letters c, p, and n. We will also be learning about the setting of the story and nouns. Our High Frequency words are: like, one, the, we, is, you, that, it, he, was. Math: In math we are working on addition. Science & Social Studies: In social studies we will be learning about community leaders and rules/laws • August 26 (Tomorrow!) - Picture Day • September 4th – Vision Screening • Tests: • Friday- Reading Test & popcorn word test
