  1. Welcome Summer Reading Volunteers Make a difference in your community

What will we do? • Walk in Berthoud Day Parade to promote SRP • Prepare registration packets • Decorate and keep the library neat • Help people sign up for the summer reading program and give out prizes • Help people find books and other materials • Shelve library materials • Assist with programs • Plan and participate in programs

  3. I would like all volunteers to march in the Berthoud Day Parade and hand out beads to promote the Summer Reading Program. Interested volunteers may also help at the library booth. This year we are planning a fundraising booth with a water balloon toss. Berthoud day June 2

Special programs • Monday evenings at 5:30 pm Movie • Fourth Monday at 6:30 pm Paws to Read • Thursday afternoons in July Teens lead, kids read • June 21 Braids and up-dos • June 28 Duct tape program • Motivated volunteers needed to create, promote and run a surprise program for children at the community center August 1 at 2 pm

  11. A special thank you! I have invited a Colorado teen author to speak at our summer volunteer luncheon this year. Todd Mitchell, author of The Secret to Lying and The Traitor King will be here to share some writing tips. I would love to have all of you join us on August 11 at 12 pm. Thank you summer volunteers!
