  2. Purpose • To inform.  •  To provide a high level overview. •  To give you time to prepare(training, communication).

  3. What is a Bundle? PeopleSoft delivers application software packages called “bundles” four times per year (quarterly). A bundle release contains four elements:  New software features  Capability enhancements  Fixes for known issues  Regulatory compliance items

  4. Delivery Continuous Delivery Model (CDM) • Sequential applicationon an ongoing basis • Implement new functionality to meet immediate needs • Institutions no longer have to rely on costly, disruptive major upgrades • CDM customers must be on the same software release • All updates must be applied in sequential order • Bundle 32 is a prerequisite for Bundle 33

  5. Objectives To successfully apply the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Bundle 32 To prepare for the application of Campus Solutions Bundle 33 Regs 3 (2014/2015) due to be released April 25, 2014

  6. Success Criteria/Benefits  Campus Solutions will be up to date on releases, features, and enhanced capabilities  77 various software fixes corrected across the modules  Financial Aid will be within regulatory compliance  Campus Solutions will be ready for the application of Bundle 33

Assumptions  PeopleSoft will continue to deliver software updates each quarter  Enterprise Applications will continue to install the bundles  End users will participate in the Bundle install projects to ensure the software fixes and new capabilities meet LSCS standards and business processes  Business owners will communicate changes to staff and constituents

  9. Go Live Weekend Bundle 32 Live Go Live Weekend • Bundle Updates are sequentially applied four times a year. • Move to Productions dates listed are approximate. • EA must work within the blackout calendar dates. • EA Campus Solutions must coordinate with FSM and HCM modules.

  13. Financial Aid Updates (continued) Bundle 32 Changes-Financial Aid WARNING: Oracle is delivering the 150 Percent Direct Subsidized Loan Limit functionality in multiple stages. This bundle includes changes to the system required for setting up the 150 Percent Direct Subsidized Limit functionality. The reporting functionality will be delivered in a future release. Therefore, Oracle strongly advises you not to originate 2015 Direct Loans at this time (until further notice). Originating 2015 Direct Loans prior to receiving subsequent updates to the software will result in all of your 2015 Direct Loans being rejected by COD. As a result, it will be difficult for you to address (re-originate) these loans once they have been rejected by COD.
