(wind, surge height & frequency) Inter-Island physical & meteorological data products necessary for optimal vessel routes. **Saved money for shippers. Observations and predictive models. Navigation corridors to avoid mammals/instrum.

Commercial: Offshore Aquaculture: A comprehensive picture of the state of the ocean environment as input into: Environmental Impact Statements Needed for the location of offshore aquaculture operations 3D and time physical environment and water quality (chlorophyll, light transmission nutrients, microbiology)

Government comprehensive picture of the state of the environment County and State will go to HIOOS for expertise. Educational example: Kamehameha Schools may have resources to incorporate water qualty monitoring (from the instrument, to deployment, to data) into their programs.
