  1. Main Image Music magazines contain a main image to show the audience. The purpose of the main image is to feature what the magazine is about and to draw the audience into reading the magazine.

  2. Masthead The masthead is shown at the top of the page. This is the title of the magazine and expresses to the audience what the magazine genre is.

  3. Typography Typography is the font that has been used to present the article to the public. Many different fonts and font colours are used on this magazine. The font needs to be readable so that the audience can clearly read what the article is about, preferably before purchase.

  4. Colour Scheme The colour scheme is important because it connotes the genre of the magazine. Most of the time, there are only 2-4 colours used, which match the front cover colour scheme. On this magazine, the 2-4 colours shown are pink, white, black and a grey background.

  5. Caption of image The caption of the image explains what the image is showing. And Shows what the magazine is about.
