  1. The Cold War The Cold War was when two nations had fought for the Allies. But after the war , a conflict began between the two nations. This conflict was called the Cold War.

  4. Causes of The Cold War The causes of the Cold War were time after World War 2 when the USA and the Soviet Union were rivals for world influence.

  5. The United States Involvement In The Cold War The U.S. got involved in the Cold War because the Cold War was an arms race between the U.S. and the USSR. It was eventually won by the U.S. in 1991 when the USSR collapsed.

  6. Key People Some key people are Allen Dulles the director of the CIA under Eisenhower , advocated extensive use of covert operations. Most notable among Dulles initiatives were U.S. sponsored coups in Iran in 1953.

  7. The Groups Involved In The Cold War The groups involved in The Cold War, were (NATO-North Atlantic Treaty Organization ,USA, France, Great Britain, West Germany., Warsaw Pact-Soviet countries USSR

  8. The End Result of The Cold War The fall of The Soviet Union began to happen when Mikhail Gorbachev came to power. It happened shortly before midnight on March 11, 1985. The central committee announced that Mikhail Gorbachev would succeed. Konstantin Cherenkov , who had been dead for 4 hours. Gorbachev quickly moved to see him apart from potential rivals ,he created a platform. From this point on the USSR did make reforms, and signed treaties to disame both of the superpowers. Mikhail Gorbachev with dream Soviet forces Afghanistan The Cold War finally came to an end with a coup , and Boris Yelstin was elected to power. Since then time in 1991 , Russia has grown closer and the world safer.

  9. Why Is The Cold War Important The Cold War was important because it mostly took place among the free nations of the world.
