DVD on Co-Operative Teaching - Team Teaching SESS has produced a 25-minute DVD on Co-Operative Teaching which outlines approaches that can help to include pupils with Special Educational Needs in the Mainstream Classroom.
Book-Borrowing Online facility http://www.sess.ie/resources/sess-line-library The Special Education Support Service (SESS) has developed a Book-Borrowing Online facility for teachers to use to support their continuing professional development in the learning and teaching of pupils with special educational needs.
Metacognition Resource http://www.sess.ie/resources/miscellaneous-resources 'Metacognition for the classroom and beyond: Differentiation and support for learners' This resource was produced by the SESS as part of the Equality of Challenge Initiative related to the teaching of exceptionally able students. The resource provides an overview of metacognition, along with various strategies which teachers can use with students to enhance their learning.
