Sharyland Transition Taskforce (STTF) Update Update to RMS November 20, 2013
Flight 1013 Update: • 27Competitive Retailers are currently testing in this flight to become certified to operate in the new Sharyland Utilities (SU) Service Territory. • STTF continues to discuss what would a delay in the approval of Docket 41474 look like for SU’s transition to competition. • Day-to-Day transition process • Month-to-Month transition process • Sharyland Utilities preference due to the ESI ID volume and the amount of manual processes required to complete a smooth transition. • STTF consensus will be needed by Sharyland Utilities (SU) by end of 2013 to ensure that SU has time to develop a project plan that supports the STTF’s consensus decision.
Approved Sharyland Utilities redline changes for the Retail Market Guide Section 7 “Market Processes”. Will be forwarded to RMS for approval. • Discussed nomenclature for guardlights, streetlights, and water wells • Guardlights = GL • Streetlights = SL • Water (irrigation) wells = HP# • Approximately 45, 500 ESI’s with profiles have been processed at ERCOT. ESI’s should be available to the Market by November 18th. • Sharyland phone numbers provided for General Information, Outages, and Meter Tampering • Sharyland customers will be eligible to receive benefits from the System Benefit Fund (LITE UP)
